We are spread through the villages and small districts of Gujarat.
As a Non-Profit Organisation, There are a lot of authorities that we have to fight with to bring about changes in the system of providing justice to the underprivileged people.
The sad truth about managing an NGO is that the competitors try to bring down other NGOs. Even though they are united by the same motive to support and assist the abandoned and underprivileged people, Oppositions fall in line to degrade the importance and competency of other NGOs.
We have to constantly at tiff with the government as it is our biggest barrier in getting anything sanctioned. We are always on the heads of the government to implement changes as soon as possible. It becomes difficult to mitigate injustice with our leaders hindering the process of bringing a change for good.
As such there is no single process of selecting what needs attention, everything is done simultaneously.
When it comes to giving educational assistance to the underprivileged children, a team from our NGO visits various schools of these districts, conducts a survey and finalsies 10-15 names per school, mostly the names are of these children who have only one parent or no parents, and take it upon themselves to sponsor their education.
Regular food distribution take place as there is no wrong time to provide the poor people with the basic necessities that one requires to survive
Marriage ceremonies are organised for women in a group of 5-10 women getting married at the same time, but there is no time fixed for that. It happens whenever a requirement arises.
At first, we have offices in all districts and villages spread all across Gujarat and all the women are made aware as to where to come seeking help.
Once we find a suitable man for the women to get married into, we arrange and organise weddings wherein all expenses are borne by the donors through our NGO. Everyone with their wish, provides some or the other thing to be gifted to the woman when she goes into a new family. For example: one decides to pay for the mandap, the other decides to gift gold jewellery and someone else decides to donate furniture. Right from the ceremony to providing women with all supplies and gifts that will help her establish a home is given in the marriage by us.
